Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Meo Constantini

To be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve last witnessed elegance at its very best, fierce passion for motoring art. Yet, the 2013 Dubai International Motor Show has been quite a good supplier of such nature. We genuinely enjoyed this mind-bogglingly beautiful Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Meo Constantini.
Thus, the fabled Les Legendes de Bugatti series has already been enriched with its third model, the aforementioned. Due to feature a total of 6 special edition Veyrons, the limited edition, contemplative series pays homage to different memorabilia from the motoring world. This particular one is dedicated to Meo Constantini, close friend of Ettore Bugatti, famous driver and head of Bugatti’s racing team. Constantini had also won the Targa Florio two times in the Bugatti Type 35.
Powered by an 8-liter W16 monster, which delivers 1,200 HP between 3,000 and 5,000 RPM, and 1,500 Nm of torque, the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Constantini is the fastest production series convertible in the world, managing to accelerate from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 253 mph (408.84 km/h). Furthermore, most of the car is crafted from carbon fiber, while a decent number of parts were made of aluminium – the doors, wings, the distinctive sections behind the doors, the corners of the front bumper and the “medaillons”.
The luxury hypercar also sports some truly beautiful finishing touches like the logo on the rear wing (air-brake), representing the track of the Targa Florio, Meo Constantini’s signature engraved on the oil caps and aluminum tank, all sorts of logos placed throughout the car, reminding of Constantini, and the superbly assorted two-tone leather upholstery inside the car, in Lake Blue and cognac.
